This gift is available in many forms, but it came to workshop facilitator Kathleen Buerer when she visited a farm in Janesville, Wisconsin. The farm was the home of a buffalo born white. The Legend of the White Buffalo Calf Woman explains the significance of the birth of a white buffalo to indigenous cultures and the workshop shares the significance of this ancient legend for modern times.
